New service manual for the FS4xx machines.

Software update.
All serial number from 05.00075 have version Version 20
Changes:
– In manual function, the endswitch failure of the carriage movement downwards in combination with pressing the JOG function has been solved.
(Carriage was running over the bottom limit switch)

– Appling film before starting the wrapping process.
Instead of having a fixed 100% film pre-stretch, we connected this value to the value inserted in pre-stretch for the manual program.

MACHINES FS4XX VERSION 05

LG/LS inverters have be substituted by ALTIVAR312

It has been tested that ALTIVAR312 is giving a much better performance when clients are stretching the film from 240% to 350%

VERSION 01-02-03: All replacement inverters will be substituted by ALTIVAR312
Parameters according the supplied ELS (Inside the electrical box of the machine,) will remain the same.

VERSION 04: All replacement inverters will be substituted by LG/LS

Or if required, replacement inverters U2 & U4 of the type LS/LG will be replaced by ALTIVAR312.

Above inverters have been replaced as spare-part by below inverters. (ALTIVAR31). For the assembly we provide an additional bracket in order to have the same fixing holes.

TDC Settings inverter carriage.
If your carriage moves down slowly and starts to bump up and down activating and deactivating the foot limit switch of the carriage, it means that the gearbox has worn out. You can try to resolve this problem by increasing the TDC value of inverter U1 (Carriage)

Installation PIT-OPTION:
By the installation op the pitoption FS4xx you have to pay attention to respect a minal distance of 428mm towards wall / colom at the back of the machine. If you don’t respect this distance you will have to risk, that you will be unable to open the electrical box.
